The future of UMA art

There are some changes to Studio 28 and the new school year looks to be exciting!

One big change...

Studio 28 will be where you will find MsJ full time!

Mr. Brian will be starting as a full time art teacher this year and he will be in room 22. This means MsJ's home base is room 28.

The classes I'm teaching this semester...

I will be teaching 3 sections of the mandatory 6th grade art class called Fundamentals in Art. I will also be teaching 7th and 8th grade Choice Based Art electives first semester.

Another big change...

UMA artists will be on Instagram!

I have established an Instagram account named msjsartists and I will be promoting the amazing work my students' will be completing throughout the year. I hope to find local businesses who will be willing to display our artworks as well so that we can celebrate all our creative energy and connect with our local community!

I will continue to challenge each of you to be COURAGEOUS each day as you enter Studio 28. I hope that you will be willing to try new techniques and experiment with a variety of art mediums.
